Last year, Activision took steps to protect Black Ops Cold War streamers from players who engage in stream sniping. The continued use of this shameful tactic has plagued many an online game, including the likes of Fall Guys. In practice, streaming sniping is a cheating tactic whereby players watch a stream to see where a broadcaster is located, then proceeds to take them out.
The Code of Conduct for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege has received an update, officially putting a ban on stream sniping.
